"Ms. Jayd Groce is an incomparable representative of State Farm Insurance with the Taylor Berumen Agency in Tyler, Texas. At first contact I knew there was an "eagle" serving me. This was significant to me since this was my first encounter with State Farm....she made it 100% successfully from my perspective. All aspects of her service were (and still are) impeccable and professional yet personal and attentive. The one issue that has negatively impacted my homeowners coverage was with the impact resistance (IR )of the roof on my home. The initial information indicated no discount offered with a roof IR lower than Class 4. Ms. Jayd later informed me that Class 3 had, in fact, been recently added with a discount. This discount was applied and included in the first premium. Several weeks following the policy period start, with the first premium having been paid, I received a Notice of Automated Payment for the next premium payment (due October 18th) significantly higher than the Binder indicated....in fact $105.00 higher without appropriate explanation provided. Via a phone call to Ms. Jayd I learned the majority of this reversal was due to the rejection of the roof as having a Class 3 rating. My wife and I being retired are on fixed incomes and had shopped in depth for more cost effective insurance when we first encountered SF. The result has been disappointing although I do not believe this issue was the responsibility of Ms. Jayd. I would greatly appreciate speaking with someone with SF with authority to give this further consideration. Thank you for the opportunity to offer my information via this survey. Paul Fowler"
