ABOUT OUR AGENCY
I opened my agency in 2017, and currently lead a close-knit team of three. I've spent 13 years in the insurance industry, but my career actually began as a high school English teacher. After making the transition into insurance, I started as a State Farm team member where I worked for an agent for three years before moving to Tyler and opening an agency of my own. Outside of work, I'm blessed with my wonderful wife, Sarah, and our three children, Lela, Ben, and Miles. We love spending time together playing sports, enjoying games, and exploring local events and restaurants around Tyler.

Being involved in the Tyler community is something I'm incredibly passionate about. I currently serve as president of the Tyler Referral Network, where I enjoy connecting with and promoting local businesses and business owners. I've also volunteered with Meals on Wheels for the past eight years and am proud to support organizations like PAVE East Texas, Therapet, and Carter BloodCare. Giving back and building meaningful relationships throughout our community are important parts of who I am.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Taylor Berumen - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
